Hero and Sage was opened in October 2019 by its two co-founders, Whitney Adams and Barbara Barnett. Since then, the salon has made two additions to the team, Jarrad Baker and Tosha Williams-Finch, who specializes in natural hair. The salon is located within the Crosstown Concourse building in Midtown, Memphis, Tennessee.
